About the Wine
KIND is a very limited production hand-crafted
Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet
Franc and Merlot that is arguably one of the top new
wines in Napa. With its inaugural vintage in 2005 very well received,
the 2006 release has been long anticipated. In the true spirit of care and artisan
wine making, David Yorgensen puts his own stamp on an ultra-premium wine that
rivals many of the “cult” wines and will be one to watch
in the coming years. | |

Tasting Panel Notes
Tasting Panel Notes This
wine was a late entry and was first tasted at the launch appreciation party that
we did for the participating wineries. With this many “industry”
people, I figured it to be a good gauge on the wine. I can tell you that it was
one of the wines that no one had ever tasted before and the feedback was amazing.
The number of people that came up to me during and after the party raving about
this wine was astounding. You know it’s a crowd favorite when everyone asks
to take the remaining bottles (a few drops in this case...) home. And,
lucky for us, this wine made it in the catalog.

Winemaker’s
Quote: “KIND
represents a philosophy that embodies the goodness and quality life has to offer.
This premium Napa Valley Bordeaux style blend is both powerful and elegant, revealing
blackberry and violet aromas along with a deep rich profile of dark berries, espresso
roast, licorice and toasted oak.”
